121 West 125th Street is a planned 414,000 square-foot development centrally located along historic 125th Street in Harlem. Taconic and its development partners, L&M Development Partners, BRP Companies and the Prusik Group, entered into a new long-term lease with Empire State Development to develop the 40,000 square-foot block-through site into a dynamic mixed-use building featuring commercial, residential, retail, non-profit and cultural uses.

Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle, the 17-story project will create 90,000 square feet of big-box and community retail space, 75,000 square feet of Class-A office space, 170 affordable residential units as well as the new headquarters for the National Urban League and the Urban Civil Rights Museum Experience. The development was made possible after years of diligent collaboration between public, private and non-profit parties, and represents an important economic development effort to bring top-class live/work/learn/play opportunities to the center of the Harlem community. Construction began in the summer of 2020, and is expected to be completed by mid-2023.
