In June of 2012, Taconic acquired two adjacent properties – a landmarked warehouse originally constructed in 1905 at 401 Washington Street, and a parking garage at 412 Greenwich Street -with plans to develop a 137,000 square foot, 33-unit luxury condominium building. The properties are centrally located in Tribeca, one of New York City’s most desirable residential neighborhoods. With the vision of Morris Adjmi Architects, Taconic received approval from the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission to restore and adapt the architecturally significant warehouse, and to redevelop the parking garage, as its mirror image. The two sites function as a single condominium building with shared amenities. Development was substantially complete in 2016, and the project was sold out in 2017.
