David is responsible for acquiring properties across multiple asset classes throughout New York City. He manages the deal-level acquisition process including sourcing, execution, underwriting, debt and equity placement, and due diligence. At Taconic he has sourced, acquired and financed over $1.5 billion of commercial real estate.
Prior to joining Taconic in 2019, David was Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Building and Land Technology (BLT), where he sourced over $350 million of acquisitions and led the financing of over $1.5 billion of commercial real estate across 10 million square feet. Additionally, David asset managed a $2 billion commercial real estate portfolio including five million square feet of office space and 60 hotels. Prior to BLT, David held positions at the Lefrak Organization, Capital Trust, Jefferies & Company, and Houlihan Lokey. David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Brandeis University where he graduated magna cum laude. He also received a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School.
