David is responsible for acquiring properties across multiple asset classes throughout New York City. He manages the deal-level acquisition process including sourcing, execution, underwriting, debt and equity placement, and due diligence.
Prior to joining Taconic in 2019, David was Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Building and Land Technology (BLT), where he sourced over $350 million of acquisitions and led the financing of over $1.5 billion of commercial real estate across 10 million square feet. Additionally, David asset managed a $2 billion commercial real estate portfolio including five million square feet of office space and 60 hotels. Prior to BLT, David held positions at the Lefrak Organization, Capital Trust, Jefferies & Company, and Houlihan Lokey. David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Brandeis University where he graduated magna cum laude. He also received a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School.
