Tal oversees Taconic’s accounting, reporting, treasury and financial operations. He is actively engaged in the company’s financial planning, capital market and asset management initiatives, coordinates its risk management programs and oversees the firm’s compliance activities. Tal serves on the company’s Compliance Committee and is actively involved with regulatory matters. He is also responsible for Taconic’s Investor Relations.
Prior to joining Taconic in 2014, Tal was a portfolio controller at Paramount Group, Inc., a national real estate investment and management firm. During his six-year tenure with Paramount, he gained extensive experience overseeing funds and their underlying investments. He served as the portfolio controller of the firm’s eight funds which aggregated $11 billion in gross assets under management at that time. Prior to Paramount, Tal worked as an audit senior with a specialization in private equity real estate funds at the public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. Tal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from SUNY Albany.
