Tal is responsible for the accounting and reporting of Taconic’s Investment Funds and oversees the property reporting team. He is also responsible for Taconic’s Investor Relations. He is a member of the Compliance Committee and is actively involved with regulatory matters. Tal assists the CFO with overall financial planning and operations.
Prior to joining Taconic in 2014, Tal was a portfolio controller at Paramount Group, Inc., a national real estate investment and management firm. During his six-year tenure with Paramount, he gained extensive experience overseeing funds and their underlying investments. He served as the portfolio controller of the firm’s eight funds which aggregated $11 billion in gross assets under management at that time. Prior to Paramount, Tal worked as an audit senior with a specialization in private equity real estate funds at the public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. Tal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from SUNY Albany.
