John is responsible for construction projects, including project management, design development, preconstruction, contract negotiations, and architectural design oversight.
Before joining Taconic in 2015, John served as a senior project manager for Macklowe Properties, where he was responsible for construction oversight of 432 Park Ave, a new $700 million, 1,400-foot-tall, luxury residential tower, and as a project executive for RC Dolner Construction, where he was responsible for $200 million of construction and renovation including the Hyatt Andaz on 41st Street and the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. Prior to Dolner, John spent 20 years as an architect and project manager for ownership with Hartz Mountain Industries and was responsible for over one billion square feet of construction and development including the Tribeca Grand and Soho Grand Hotels. John earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from New York Institute of Technology and has been a practicing, licensed architect in New York and New Jersey since 1994.
